TGV Rockets and key personnel have been involved in the conceptual design of a highly operable low-cost suborbital launch vehicle (TGV’s MICHELLE-B), the conceptual design of a vertical takeoff and landing (VTVL) research vehicle (DC-X), the conceptual design of high performance VTVL research vehicles (DC-Y, DC-X2, SX-2 and X-33 Proposal) including high altitude piston powered aircraft, high altitude glider systems, micro-satellite upper stages, and associated mission design and conceptual design of special purpose GEO communication satellites.
Research and Development
TGV key personnel have been involved in R&D projects covering the spectrum of high speed computing, communications, digital video, rotating machinery, solar power systems, rocket propulsion, secure computing and have seen all phases of R&D from conceptual design to manufacturing turnover.
Detailed Design of Aero-Structures
TGV personnel have performed both aeroshell and aero-surfaces design for TGV’s MICHELLE-B and the DC-X high altitude research aircraft.

High Speed Computational Fluid Dynamics
TGV Rockets and key personnel have been involved in CFD studies for projects as diverse as tractor-trailers, low speed aircraft, supersonic launch vehicles, jet engine turbines and combustors.
High Speed Computing
TGV Rockets and key personnel have been involved in the field of high speed computing including complete lifecycle design of small Multiple Parallel processors (60 GFlop cluster), Large MPP Clusters (CM-5), RAID clusters at Level 5 and high speed serial processors.

TGV Rockets and key personnel have been involved in thermal analysis for cryo-structural and plumbing systems, engine bay modeling, avionic system modeling, and passenger cabin systems.

TGV Rockets and key personnel have been involved in application of GB networking at the LAN level, research in ATM at the OC-192 level, implementation of OC-48 Metropolitan area networks including research demonstrations of the Global Information Grid (GIG).
Mechanical Design and Analysis
TGV Rockets and key personnel have been involved in detailed design of thrust structures, intertank structures, mount attach points of reusable launch vehicles, subsonic aircraft, and supersonic fighter aircraft (F-22). Designs have included detailed stress analyses using NASTRAN.

TGV key personnel have been involved in the creation of digital video standards including HDTV, MPEG-2,3,4, JPEG including prototype implementations to Power PC platform, Altivec extension encoding.
